Korea Tour

This tour covers main cites and attractions of Korea – Seoul, Korean Folk Village, Mt. Songnisan National Park, Gyeongju, Golgulsa Temple, Busan, Haedong Temple, etc. From bustling cities to stunning countryside, this tour includes soaring skyscrapers, complex history, wonderful music and centuries-old temples.

This is the Itinerary

Seoul and surrounds (2-3 days)

– Jeongdong Theater: a Korean traditional show. Four regular traditional performances in dance, Pungmul, vocal and music instruments were established at this theater in 1997 to present various types of performances from court music to folk songs. After Korean traditional dinner, your lady will show you around the best nightlife district and red light district.

– Seoul city tour, including National Museum, Secret Garden & Changdeok Palace and Seoul Tower on Mt. Namsan for a bird’s eye view of Metropolitan city of Seoul.

– Changdoek Palace was used as the main palace by many Joseon Kings and the best preserved one among the five royal palaces in Seoul. It is best known for its beautiful garden of the royal family, Huwon or Biwon (Secret Garden) with its superb landscape with pavilions and ponds.

– Korean Folk Village / Mt. Songnisan National Park , where the old traditional style houses and life style of 18th-19th century are being practiced by people living in the village. Proceed to Songnisan Nattional Park and Beopjusa Temple.

 

Gyeongju (1-2 days)

Gyeongju is rich with temples, tombs and palace ruins (many of which are World Heritage sites). In the morning, with a stroll through the local market and progressive tasting. Start with the building blocks of Korean cuisine, then taste how the ingredients come together to make beloved local dishes. Next you can go to the Golgulsa Temple for an overnight stay. The monks at this temple practice a specific type of martial arts known as sunmudo. Be treated to a display of the fighting art,. You can enjoy a vegan dinner in the temple. Then enjoy time to wander around the tranquil temple surrounds. In the evening, relax with a chanting and meditation service, or simply settle in for an early night’s sleep.

 

Busan (1-2 days)

In the morning, you can visit the beautiful Haedong Temple, built into the rocks by the sea. you can learn about the spiritual values and beliefs of Korean Buddhism over tea with some monks. Next you can go to the Taejondae Lighthouse, from which there are great views over the ocean and of the surrounding cliffs. Visit Jalgalchi Market, an enormous seafood market situated by Busan port, and Tong Market for general produce and knick-knacks.
When night falls, you can decide whether to join in an optional dinner of Korean lamb skewers with eggplant, dumplings and other side dishes. After dinner you may want to take in the local nightlife in the Seomyeon Entertainment District!
